Pony Lake (Antarctica) Reference FA (1R109F) now available!

In December, 2005 to February, 2006, Prof. Yu-ping (Yo) Chin (Ohio State University) and Prof. Diane McKnight (University of Colorado) used the XAD-8 resin method to isolate a reference fulvic acid from Pony Lake in Antarctica. Pony Lake fulvic acid is formed entirely from biomass that does not contain lignin. As such, its chemical composition is expected to be an end-member composition for aquatic fulvic acids, representing negligible input of terrestrially derived organic matter.
